The Hermès Kelly 32 is a super coveted bag as it is, but this is an extremely rare version in Lizard leather 🤩🦎
This Kelly is a size 32 in Sellier edition, in one of the most popular Hermès colours called ‘Gold’, with gold hardware. This bag in lizard leather is very unique, and there seems to be not ONE other like this currently on the market. Talk about a rare piece!
Also very hard to find is a bag like this that comes as a full set. This means the bag comes with the shoulder strap, lock (also covered in lizard leather), keys, clochette, box, dustbag and mini dustbag. It also comes with (unbranded) bag insert to keep the interior clean, and with copy of the Hermès Spa receipt.
The bag has been lovingly used and cared for. It is in good to very good condition, considering this bag is from 1995. There is no damage; the leather is in good condition without tears. The structure of the bag is still very good. Ofcourse, there are normal signs of use, which are mostly micro scratches on the hardware, and some minor darkening of the leather in certain places. The bag has gone to the Hermès spa in 2020, where it received a full care treatment, and where the handle was completely replaced. The handle is currently still in like new condition. Please refer to the many photo’s to view the condition of the bag.
Lizard leather is not only beautiful, it is also relatively durable and easy to maintain. It does not get scratched easily and the scales don’t ‘lift’ like some other exotic leathers do. And, lizard is the most rare leather of all exotic Hermès bags!
All in all, this is a truly exceptional bag, one that will never ever go out of style, one that is subtle enough to wear for the rest of your life, all while making heads turn when you do. A classic bag, classic colour combo, with a lizard leather twist.
